Full Stack Engineer

[Full Stack Engineer]

Location: London (Remote) | Type: Permanent | Salary: up to £65,000

We are looking for two experienced Full Stack Developers with a strong React and Node background to join a fast-growing technology company delivering innovative digital products to a global customer base.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in building and evolving modern, customer-facing platforms. Working across a React-based front end and Node.js back end, you'll:

  • Own features end-to-end
  • Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams
  • Help drive engineering excellence across the business

The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will:

  • Design and develop scalable, high-quality web applications using React and Node.js.
  • Take ownership of features from concept through to deployment.
  • Build reusable components and maintain robust APIs & services.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in an agile environment.
  • Champion front-end best practices, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and standards.

About You

You are a front-end-first engineer with a passion for creating intuitive, high-performing user experiences. You understand modern React development and are equally comfortable working with back-end services.

You enjoy collaborating with others, sharing knowledge, and delivering clean, well-tested code. You take pride in attention to detail and are always looking for ways to improve products and processes.


Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent commercial experience.
  • 5+ years of commercial full-stack development experience.
  • Strong experience with React and modern front-end architecture.
  • Solid back-end development experience with Node.js.
  • Excellent TypeScript and JavaScript skills.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of state management solutions such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience.

  • Experience with:
    • Next.js or Remix.
    • GraphQL and Apollo.
    • Storybook and component libraries.
    • Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
    • Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with:
    • AI-powered integrations (LLM APIs, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
    • Sports, wellness, or events-related platforms.
