Junior Social Worker - Health Professional 2

Palliative Care Social Worker (Temporary – 6 Months with Potential for Extension or Permanency)

Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary (6 months with opportunity for extension and/or permanency into permanency)

Classification: Health Professional Level 2 (602960+) Salary: $91,026 – $108,691 Pro Rata (including 12.5% Super) Location: Clare Holland House, Barton Section: Allied Health and Specialist Palliative Care Closing Date: 17th July 2026

About the Role

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team at Clare Holland House, where Social Workers provide specialised palliative care across:

  • Inpatient settings
  • Home-based care
  • Outpatient services

  • Work collaboratively with patients, carers, referrers, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred palliative care.
  • Support high-quality care and service delivery in a specialist clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

Note: All required prior-to-start checks will include:

  • Credentialing and clinical practice requirements for allied health under Canberra Health Services
