Mobile Funeral Arranger – Part Time (32 hours per week)
Salary: £21,150–£21,600 per annum (increasing to £21,882 from 1st July) Location: James Brown & Sons Funeral Directors, Belfast Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – 09:00–17:00 Mobile Coverage: Up to 15 branches (mileage paid at 45p per mile)

The Opportunity
As a Mobile Funeral Arranger, you’ll be a compassionate, organised professional offering unwavering support to families during devastating times. Your role spans:
- Client Care: Welcoming families with compassion and guiding them through the entire funeral process.
- Admin & Coordination: Ensuring all paperwork/dondaeumentation is accurate and timely; providing detailed handover to directors for seamless execution.
- Mobile Coverage: Available ad-hoc or proactively across multiple branches (travel expenses reimbursed).
- Community Engagement: Building relationships with clients, organising fundraising activities, and supporting local welfare.

Key Responsibilities
- Family Support: Offer empathetic advice and logistical guidance (from cremations to traditional burials).
- Compliance: Manage legal documentation; liaise with municipal authorities and clergy.
- Adaptability: Work independently or collaboratively, managing unexpected mobilisations as demands change.
- Integration: Embrace proactive curiosity—contribute to staff and community initiatives.
Flexibility & Considerations
- Familiarity with funeral processes isn’t mandatory; training provided.
- Planning scheduled across 32/week hours on non-consecutive weekdays.
