About the Role
This fixed-term position is based in Forestry England’s North District, covering Northumberland, Cumbria, County Durham, and North Lancashire. As the Nature Networks Project Officer, you’ll play a critical role in:
- Overseeing the development and delivery of the North District’s Nature Networks project from concept to implementation.
- Bringing the vision of nature networks to life at scale and pace, aligning with Forestry England’s ambitions for nature recovery.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conceptualising and defining nature network strategies.
- Facilitating on-ground implementation effectively.
- Ensuring projects meet digital engagement, messaging, and partnership goals.
- Supporting protected area management planning.
- Collaborating across teams to ensure cohesion in delivery.
