People Operations Analyst - 12 Month FTC

HR Analyst – PIMCO Role Overview

This Role

The HR Analyst supports high-quality HR operations, ensuring seamless employee lifecycle management and robust compliance. Positioned as a central [HR Service Delivery] contact, you’ll resolve employee inquiries with precision, execute core HR processes, and uphold exceptional service while maintaining data integrity and audit readiness.


Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle Operations

  • Onboarding/Handoffs: Lead checklists and system updates for new hires, transfers, reassignments, and exits.
  • Mobile & Facility Transfers: Oversee logistics, communication, and system readiness for relocations—domestic or international.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure HRIS records (e.g. Workday) align with local/regional HRMS integration requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete records with actionable audit trails.

2. Performance & Data Integrity

  • Transactional Accuracy: Process HR transactions (e.g. payroll changes, status updates) with zero errors.
  • Report Generation: Draft ad-hoc reports to support program analysis and process improvements.
  • Audit Support: Conduct data validation checks and provide documentation upon request.

3. Customer-Centric Case Management

  • First-Level Support: Resolve 80% of employee/manager queries (e.g. benefits, leave, compliance) via ServiceNow or comparable systems.
    • SLAs Met: Mтымediate responses within 24-48 hours.
  • Escalation Protocol: Escalate complex cases to subject-matter experts or peers.
  • Documentation Toolkit: Create and curate FAQs/searchable knowledge base with standard fields (e.g. “Process Inquiries by”.

4. Program Support

  • Collaborate with HR Client Requests, Global Communications, Non-structural programs (relocation, diversity initiatives).
  • Self-Service Model: Foster adoption by developing user-friendly training materials and tutorials.
  • Process Enablement: Propose efficiency upgrades via standardized workflows and automation tools.

5. Compliance & Diversity Advocacy

  • Review HR processes for adherence to global/local regulations and PIMCO’s E/EEO policies.
  • Implement diversity equity and inclusion training initiatives.
  • Vault Integrations: Ensure PIMCO’s vendor ecosystem meets regulatory standards.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify bottlenecks in workflows, suggest iterations to reduce manual effort.
  • Support transactional automation by documenting repeatable processes (e.g. replay data preprocessing).
  • Engage with focus groups to co-innovate, addressing gaps in HR self-service interfaces.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. HR certifications).

Leadership Qualities

  • Attention to Detail: Question assumptions and verify facts through hands-on validation.
  • Judgment: Thoughtful prioritization of cases based on urgency/impact, with confidentiality.
  • Learning Agility: Quick ramp-up on new tools (e.g. beyond Workday) or procedural changes.
  • Collaboration: Act as a single point of contact, bridging cross-functional teams (across EMEA/AMEA/APAC).

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with **HR Service Management (e.g., ServiceNow) and ERP Centralized Employee HR Systems (OSHERIA equivalent).
  • Proven comfort with manual processes before supporting tools/trending toward automation.
  • Microsoft Office Suite pass (*advanced): Pivot tables, and Excel functions (DRUNSO).
