Planner / Planning Engineer

Senior Project Planner (Critical Infrastructure & Complex Projects)

Your Role

  • Full build and management of schedules, their interfaces, and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintenance and management of Baselines to support contractual and performance metrics
  • Lead meetings and workshops to challenge project progress and performance
  • Support Planning/Project Controls Managers in maintaining schedules and their interfaces
  • Manage contractual requirements for schedules
  • Provide advanced hierarchical reporting (e.g., Earned Value Management (EVM))
  • Handle integration of scheduling/cost/risk, delay analysis, and scenario planning
  • Execute Critical Path evaluations and contribute to efficiency improvements
  • Proficiency in delay analysis techniques

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction, related discipline
  • Senior Planner with industry experience in: transportation, energy, defence, water, and rail
  • Direct knowledge of NEC contracts and their application in project management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills (communication across diverse groups)
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
