Qualified Dental Nurse – Part-Time Opportunity
Alpha Dental Care Quayside (Part of Riverdale Healthcare)
📍 Location: 352 Oldham Road, Failsworth, Manchester
🕒 Hours: 36 hours per week (flexible working available)
About the Role
Are you a passionate Qualified Dental Nurse looking for a dynamic and supportive role? Alpha Dental Care Quayside is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic team member to join our friendly, expert-led practice.
We are a modern, busy 5-surgery practice in Failsworth, delivering high-quality NHS and private dental care with state-of-the-art equipment, including:
- Digital X-rays
- Rotary endodontics
- Airflow technology
Our practice values collaborative care, offering extensive clinical exposure across: ✔ NHS treatments ✔ Private dentistry ✔ Dental Essentials & Practice Plan patients
You’ll work alongside a seasoned clinical team, Practice Manager, and nursing staff in a welcoming, fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you’ll support clinicians in delivering exceptional patient care within a positive, professional setting. Key duties include:
- Assisting in all aspects of clinical dentistry, including NHS and private treatments
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, sterility, and sterungs in line with GDC guidelines
- Managing patient records digitally with accuracy and confidentiality
- Working efficiently in our dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Following a structured service recovery process to ensure patient satisfaction
- Preparing surgery areas for everything from routine check-ups to specialist treatments
- Reporting to and collaborating with Clinical Lead, Practice Manager, and other dental professionals

Requirements
- ✓ GDC registration as a Qualified Dental Nurse
- ✓ Completed Hepatitis B immunisation
