Seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our 25-bed Nursing and Residential Care Home in Wheatley.
Home Manager Package
- Starting salary: £55,000 per annum
- Generous annual bonus
What is the Role?
Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring high-quality care is provided to all residents
- Building and maintaining occupancy to sustain the home’s stability
- Recruiting, training, and retaining a professional, motivated staff team
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and operational policies
- Managing home finances within budget to achieve profit & loss goals
- Promoting marketing strategies to enhance the home’s reputation
- Implementing improvement initiatives in care quality and operational efficiency

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record in CQC-rated “Good” nursing home management
- Qualified in Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care
- Strong commercial, operational, and motivational leadership skills
- Experience in occupancy growth strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for internal/external relationships
- Ability to lead large teams while adhering to CQC/regulatory standards
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN) certification (desirable but not essential)
