About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Sales Director (Government Sector) to grow our EMEA (%) pipeline.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish and manage a high-value pipeline in the UK Government & Public Sector
- Drive adoption of HERE’s Enterprise SaaS platform.
- Valid customers must meet annual sales targets by:
- Acquiring and growing new relationships.
- Aligning stakeholder expectations with solutions and value. (No sales teams; individual-contributor role.)
Ownership Clause
This role is highly results-based – your success hinges on your own ability to generate and close Enterprise SaaS deals independently.

Pipeline Development
- Prospecting & networking across the UK’s government ecosystem.
- Leverage tools (sales tech & AI) for efficiency and value-driven messaging.
Sales Execution
- Set, execute and achieve annual targets via a structured process (MEDDICC).
- Proactively track opportunity progression.
Client Relationships
- Build and retain government and enterprise relationships throughout the sale cycle.
Enterprise Consulting
- Identify emerging trends in security, productivity and digital transformation, applying them to customer needs.
- Develop industry/regulatory domain expertise.
Technical Empowerment
- Delve deep into HERE’s product and tech stack to confidently advocate for solutions:
- Align with business/senior stakeholders (engineers, security teams).
- Represent HERE at industry events.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct Enterprise SaaS sales experience in the UK government/public sector.
- Proven track record of selling platform tools (for trusted government/enterprise accounts).
- Ideal candidates can:
- Generate and close SaaS deals independently.
- Navigate stakeholder hierarchies and tech semiotics.
- Work with partners for lead generation. (UK public sector sales) crucial tools: negotiation, presentation.)
Soft Skills
- Arresting enthusiasm for AI-driven enterprise tech and space innovation.
- Speaker-level communication: verbal, written and new-age networking.
