The Role
The Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager, EMEA, is responsible for:
- Developing, fostering, and sustaining a sound Integrity and Compliance culture.
- Leading, embedding, and strengthening the Compliance Program for the EMEA region of the Pall operating company within Danaher’s Life Sciences Platform.
- Implementing an effective Compliance Program designed to:
- Ensure compliance with anti-corruption and other compliance laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Promote ethical and appropriate behaviour among employees.
- Prevent and detect misconduct.
- Serving as the primary compliance advisor for Pall in the EMEA region.

This position reports to the Global Compliance Director and is part of the Life Sciences Platform and extended Pall Legal and Compliance team. This role is fully remote in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Strategy
- Review and advise on business activities and strategies.
- Support the implementation of Compliance systems, processes, and controls.
Policy & Training
- Modify, update, and implement Compliance policies and procedures.
- Design and conduct ongoing Compliance training for associates.
Risk Management
- Conduct compliance risk assessments.
- Develop risk management strategies.
- Implement internal design controls to mitigate Business risks, including third-party/distributor risk management.
Auditing & Monitoring
- Conduct regular compliance auditing and monitoring.
- Assess the effectiveness of Compliance systems, processes, and controls.
- Implement required remedial actions.
Ethics & Investigations
- Promote Danaher’s Code of Conduct and core values.
- Oversee Speak Up programs.
- Conduct investigations and implement related corrective actions.
Privacy & GDPR
- Partner with the Life Sciences Platform Privacy Lead and the Global Compliance Director to support the Pall privacy program.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on GDPR-related matters.
- Facilate the internal DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) process.
- Complete privacy impact assessments.
- Lead the data privacy steering committee.

Essential Requirements
-
5+ years of Compliance experience in:
- Relevant risk areas within the life sciences/healthcare industries.
- Or a similar highly regulated industry.

B.A., B.S., or equivalent university degree.

A business-minded, risk-conscious, proactive, and solutions-oriented professional who:
- Can explain complex compliance points to the business.
- Considers business managers’ concerns and demands in developing compliance strategies.

Strong written and oral communication skills with diverse audiences.
-
Fluency in English and preferably proficient in other languages spoken in the EMEA region.
Preferred Experience (Plus Factors)
- 7+ years of Compliance experience in:
- Life sciences/healthcare industries
- Or a similar highly regulated industry.
- CCEP-I or similar compliance/risk management certification.
- CIPP/E certification.
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR and hands-on experience in:
- Developing and implementing a privacy program.
Travel & Work Arrangements
- Willingness to travel ~10% and visit sites within the region regularly.
This position is eligible for a flexible, remote work arrangement.
