Job Description
We are seeking a General Warehouse Operative to join our modern site in Worksop, supporting a fast-paced e-fulfilment operation for a well-known international brand in the Beer, Wines, and Spirits sector.
This full-time, permanent role operates on a 12-hour day shift—4 on, 4 off—including weekends, from 06:00 to 18:00. The position carries a salary of £26,602 p.a.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive customer products accurately and handle all goods in line with warehouse procedures.
- Stow stock correctly in designated areas while upholding quality and accuracy.
- Pick, sort, and pack customer orders safely and efficiently, aligning with customer requirements and internal procedures.
- Maintain product integrity and adhere to quality standards at all times.
- Prepare parcels for dispatch by sorting into the correct shuttles.
- Operate handheld or radio data terminals effectively to complete tasks.
- Work to performance targets and KPIs, balancing speed with accuracy and safety.
- Follow client-specific requirements and site protocols at all times.
- Operate equipment safely and confidently, adhering to training guidelines.

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Desirable: Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Key Competencies:
- Work ethic: Confident in meeting targets and KPIs in a high-pressure setting.
- Flexibility: Willing to support operations across different warehouse areas.
- Attention to detail: Strong accuracy and analytical skills.
- Customer focus: Comfort in handling Beer, Wines, and Spirits products.
- Teamwork: Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively.
- Openness to training and adaptability to new processes.
- Additional Traits:
- Reliability and commitment to high standards.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) experience: Desirable but not mandatory.
Important Training Information
All selected candidates will complete an initial training period (27th July – 21st August) at our replica site in Deeside, Flintshire. This training takes place Monday to Thursday, 06:00–18:00, with transport provided from Worksop. Travel time is remunerated.
